This morning someone I don’t know very well told me she is giving me some money for students in Papua New Guinea. That simple statement prompted me to write this blog.
I am excited to tell you that Adventure Number TEN begins on January 23, 2019 when I leave LAX WITH Dan and Janet for Christian Leaders’ Training College. It is fun to anticipate being able to travel together. It was a relief to have Dan make all the reservations, too. I am very blessed! We are flying via Hong Kong this year; a first for all three of us. I will keep you posted.
When I was there earlier this year, I realized how many students need financial help. Costs are rising and the economy in PNG is not doing well. I have never mentioned this before, but after that comment this morning, I decide I would “make the need known”. If anyone would like to help a student with his/her financial obligations for the school year 2019, I would be glad to take it with me. If you need a receipt, I can provide you with an address of an organization which would forward the money to the school and send you a receipt.
Please pray that my visa would come soon. Originally it was to have been at the Embassy in DC almost two weeks ago. It isn’t critical yet, but I would appreciate your prayers for it to come soon and for the Lord to give me peace. Thanks.
